I'm just going to be plain with you. The logo released by uniwatch is mediocre at best. In my opinion I think they are just doing it to sell merchandise. Anyway it looks like the Interstate Highways Signs with a Panther in it. Sure it looks realistic but I prefer the cartoony version of it. … Continue reading My thoughts on the latest mockup of the new logo
Season Recap: 2015-16
Goodbye 2015-16 Panthers season. It was an incredible one. From setting franchise records in Wins (47); Points (103) and Winning Streak (12) it was a great year. Say the Islanders played a perfect series and eliminated us from the playoffs. This was my favorite year as a Panther fan. From the 7-1 blowout win against … Continue reading Season Recap: 2015-16
Why we lost the series
The Florida Panthers have lost to the New York Islanders in 6 games in Round 1 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Here is why they lost: The Islanders played a perfect series. They took advantage of every single little mistake we made and put it in the back of the net. They were also … Continue reading Why we lost the series
Game 6 Recap: @ NY Islanders
Florida 1 NY Islanders 2 2OT Islanders win series 4-2 Well this was a heartbreaker. You blow a lead in the final minute and then Tavares jukes out your goalie in OT goes behind the net and scores. On the brink of elimination these are the keys to Game 6: Score an early goal: The Barclays Center will likely be rocking tonight and the best way to calm that is to get an early goal. Game Recaps Sunday @ Islanders L3-4 OT This game should've not gotten … Continue reading The Panther Prowler 3
Is Greiss a good goalie or do our special teams suck?
All series long people have been saying Thonas Greiss has been the savior of the series. I say not. I think Greiss has done well but it's our shooting that is making it easy for him. We are shooting pucks straight at him. Sure Greiss has come up big on a few occasions but normally … Continue reading Is Greiss a good goalie or do our special teams suck?
Panthers play well with ‘backs against the wall’
The Panthers are a bounce back team. All season we have bounced back from bad things. On November 27th George Richards of the Miami Herald wrote the Panthers playoff chances were in jeopardy. They answered with 5 and 12 game winning streaks respectively. Then after the Ekblad injury and he came back we bounced back … Continue reading Panthers play well with ‘backs against the wall’
Why do the Panthers barely get any media coverage?
On the morning drives to school my dad and I listen to sports radio. All I normally hear about is the stupid Dolphins or the Heat. If we are lucky we listen to Panthers talk. Why do they barely get any media coverage? Simple. The radio guys try to bring them up but people call … Continue reading Why do the Panthers barely get any media coverage?
Thoughts on Bjugstad injury
Nick Bjugstad sustained a head injury in double overtime of last night's game 5 against the New York Islanders. Bjugstad lost a battle with Shane Prince and his head went crashing into the hard part of the boards. He left the game and was down for several minutes. This is a key loss for the … Continue reading Thoughts on Bjugstad injury
