The Panthers are the most disrespected team in the NHL. They get non calls that should obviously be penalties: Abdelkader's high hit on Barkov, Hendricks boarding Ekblad (which was later suspended), A Nashville Predator player with a high hit on Quinton Howden and the infamous Trocheck was Tripped which led to the Panthers being eliminated … Continue reading The Panthers must earn respect

As per a source on Twitter, the Panthers are the front runner to sign KHL star Alexander Radulov. Radulov has played in the NHL before. Florida Panthers Prospect Winger Jayce Hawyluk's team in the WHL the Brandon Wheat Kings have won the WHL. In the final game Hawlyruk was a beast scoring 3 goals and 3 assists. Hawlyruk and fellow Panther prospect Dryden Hunt have lit up the WHL and I'm expecting them to light up the NHL when they … Continue reading Panthers Prospect Jayce Hawyluk’s team wins the WHL

Panthers Prospects who earned themselves a spot for 2016-17
The Panthers have had several prospects come up and down this year. I have selected a few who I believe earned themselves a spot in 2016-17. Panthers sign Sam Montembeault to ELC
The Panthers have signed Goaltender Sam Montembeault to an ELC. He was the 77th overall pick by the Panthers in the 2015 NHL Draft. He put up a .901 Save Percentage and a 2.63 GAA in 2015-16 with the Blaineville-Bolsbriand Armanda of the QMJHL. His record was 17-19-6-2 and he had 3 shutouts. I'm guessing … Continue reading Panthers sign Sam Montembeault to ELC
Panthers sign Gudbranson to a 1 year deal
The Panthers have signed Defenseman Erik Gudbranson to a 1 year extension worth $3.5 million. Gudbranson had 9 points in 64 games this season. The reason I think they signed him to a 1 year deal is to make cap room for Trocheck and Ekblad.
